The rose is made from dozens of individually cut, curved and stiffened petals of textured silk noil (raw silk). The O-shaped brim is mounted on a small button hat of soft black suedette fabric, for stability. This is finished underneath with traditional petersham ribbon. The brim is striped with spray-painted styling, including drops and streaks, for a modern "graffiti" look.

The hat base is made in a traditional way from blocked felt, stiffened with wire and finished underneath with petersham ribbon. The trim is twirled pleated ribbon, scattered with black pearlescent beads, and the hat is finished with a draped net veil for that alluring vintage look.

This is a glittery silver snowflake and star costume headdress, mounted on a silver tiara hair band. The middle part of the hair band is wrapped with silver velvet ribbon and stitched with Swarovski crystals and glass faceted beads which sparkle and shine on both sides. The front side also has spikes of silver and iridescent beads to give a 3D quality. The silver glittery stars are on wire stalks strung with silver beads. The piece is a maximum 17cm tall for the central star, and is lightweight and comfortable to wear.
