Anna Dominoes Millinery was launched in 2012 by Tess Piggott, a fan of vintage and costume dressing. Do you love vintage accessories but find the fit, quality or condition a little frustrating? Do you find costume pieces hard to wear, heavy or expensive? Anna Dominoes Millinery is designed with you in mind - vintage styles, modern pieces, costume designs, bridal wear and hair accessories, all handmade using traditional millinery techniques, reasonably priced and comfortable to wear all day.

This site is primarily a portfolio, however many pieces are available to buy via Etsy immediately. If you can't see what you are looking for, get in touch via the Contact page.

Special commissions 

I am always happy to undertake personal commissions - please feel free to contact me with your requirements or ideas. For example a different colour version of an exisiting piece, or something to match a wedding outfit or costume. 

And the Anna Dominoes name?

A quirky malapropism from Charles Dickens' A Tale of Two Cities. ‘Mr. Cruncher himself always spoke of the year of our Lord as Anna Dominoes: apparently under the impression that the Christian era dated from the invention of a popular game, by a lady who had bestowed her name upon it.’
